Shipping & Delivery
All items are shipped from Amsterdam, The Netherlands via POSTNL at a flat rate of €5,90- for Dutch orders, €12,50 for European orders and €20,- for the rest of the world. All international duties/taxes are payable by the purchaser on delivery. You will be provided with tracking details as soon as your order has been shipped. If you would prefer to sign for your parcel, please send in a request so that we can use registered post when processing your order.
Delivery times will vary depending on the receiving country & customs clearance times. For estimated transit times see the website of the shipping company.
Delivery of domestic orders vary between 1 and 5 days. Please contact us if you have a special request according to your delivery time.
Please note: The Confidante is not responsible for any customs duties & taxes incurred within your receiving country. Any delivery date or time specified by The Confidante is a best estimate only, and the confidante will be not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
Within 14 days of receipt, you are able to return the product if the order is still sellable, meaning unworn and original tags attached, and you can request a refund. After 14 days the order is final. Products may be exchanged for a different size or style, or returned for online purchase credit.

How to apply for returns:
1. E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org (we speak Dutch & English), please write 'RETURN' in the subject line together with your order number. Please tell us the reason for your return in the e-mail.
2. We will respond to your inquiry (exchange or refund) and after receiving acceptance of your exchange or refund by us, we will instruct you in how to return the item to us.
3. In case of exchange, the return costs are on us (domestic orders only).
In case of refund, the costs are for the user. We will refund your return costs or full purchase costs once we have received the package.

In case of exchange (domestic): You will receive a voucher according to the value of the returned goods for another purchase.
Each product is being checked on production faults before it is shipped. If failures are being found after 10 days, which is not the consequence of using the product, please contact our customer service at email@example.com, and we will offer a suitable solution.
Please note that if you return your order it must be in accordance with our return shipping policy. This way we ensure that the product arrives at us in good order and we can take appropriate action (for example: towards our own suppliers and partners).
Return shipping must be prepaid and traceable.
In the event the package is not received by us or lost in transit, The Confidante will not be liable if there is no tracking information. You are liable for return shipping costs, and we observe the right to deny refunds if the merchandise returned fails to meet our refund policy requirements.
